Alan Victor
Prospective
Parliamentary Candidate for
Mid Bedfordshire

Alan Victor
Alan Victor is the True & Fair Party candidate for Mid Bedfordshire. The 63 year old is a retired car company executive who decided to enter politics because he was fed up with the current state of UK politics and mainstream political parties hijacking our democracy, promising the world and failing to deliver.
As a trustee of a local charity, he sees that nurturing the youth of Mid Bedfordshire in children’s centres, nurseries and community hubs is so important to the future well-being of the constituency and must be properly funded. He believes decisions are made in a political bubble and sold to the public as “what the people want” to convince us to accept half-baked empty promises which don’t help in our daily lives.
Alan is clear that True & Fair’s core principles of cleaning up politics, modernising democracy and fighting corruption are a long overdue necessity to get the right thinking and culture into Westminster and to enforce honesty and integrity in our elected representatives.
Alan's local priorities are to:
Ensure local development is fully matched by improvements in local infrastructure and services including transparency of funding sources so that residents can see funding generated from development in their area is fairly shared in their local communities.
Improve provision for education and support of families and young people, including family centres, nurseries and SEND provision which are all enablers of future prosperity.
Encourage new business in the constituency to provide jobs for the growing population while ensuring ongoing scrutiny of any environmental impacts.

Closing Tax Loopholes White Paper - Centre Think Tank, Commissioned by the True & Fair Party
It is blatantly unfair that tax avoidance, evasion and loopholes are not being closed in a manner that creates a fairer tax system, more tax revenue and therefore less borrowing. This paper proposes a better resourced tax office to tackle fraud, increase transparency and improved data collection.
